But here's something else to think about: Trump just said he'll keep Blanche as Acting AG and then he'll go back to being Trump's private attorney. With him in office for all of this time, what does that mean for the Epstein victims...no justice. And will he have the opportunity to scrub files, if he hasn't already?

Not only has Todd Blanche shown himself to be loyal to Trump over loyalty to the Constitution, he has shown loyalty to Trump above the law and above the American people. Any Senator who votes to confirm him needs to be voted out of office. The action of confirming Blanche is the breaking of the oath they took to uphold the Constitution.
This reads more like a political opinion piece than an objective evaluation. Every administration appoints Justice Department leaders who align with its law enforcement priorities. That’s nothing new. The real question is whether Todd Blanche will enforce the law fairly not whether former colleagues or political opponents approve of his past clients. Representing Donald Trump as a defense attorney doesn’t disqualify him any more than representing other controversial clients would disqualify any other lawyer. If critics have evidence that Blanche broke the law or violated ethical rules, let the appropriate process decide that. Until then, this looks like another attempt to block a nominee because of who he represented rather than his qualifications or experience, period.
